On Monday, Year 2 and ELC went on an excursion to Bongil Bongil Picnic Area. It was a day filled with discovery, learning, and appreciation for the natural wonders around us.
Despite the weather forecast, we were fortunate to have a rain-free day, allowing our students to fully immerse themselves in the activities planned for them. One of the primary goals of our excursion was to instill in our students the importance of preserving our environment and understanding the role of National Parks rangers in safeguarding these special places.
Throughout the day, our students actively participated in various activities designed to deepen their understanding of the delicate ecosystems present in our national parks. They learned about the rich biodiversity of Bongil Bongil and the importance of conserving it for future generations. With the guidance of our knowledgeable educators and park rangers, students eagerly explored their surroundings, discovering the diversity of plant and animal life thriving in this unique habitat.
It was great to witness the enthusiasm and curiosity of our students as they interacted with nature. We believe that experiences like these not only enhance their academic learning but also foster a lifelong appreciation for the natural world.
