Primary Sports Captains 2024 were announced at the Primary Assembly.
Mr Smith presented them with badges and responsibilities for the year.

NCIS Tennis

Grafton put on great weather for the NCIS tennis.

BDC sent 13 students (7 secondary and 6 primary). All students represented BDC with excellent competitiveness and sportsmanship. 

BDC had 5 students qualifying through to CIS - Jasper Hein, Remy Balmain, Jackson Cheney, Finn Kahler and Julia Hein. What a sensational effort! Well done to all who participated. 

Primary girls Julia - 1st in pool, 2nd overall CIS Tasmyn - 5th.

Primary boys Finn - 3rd CIS Lachie - playoffs Tristan - 3rd in pool Sterling - equal 3rd in pool.

Secondary girls Onyx - 3rd in pool Sophia - 6th in pool 

Secondary boys Remy - 1st in pool, 3rd overall, CIS Jasper - 1st in pool, 2nd overall CIS Jackson - 1st in pool, quarter finals CIS Ben - 5th in pool Divan - tied 6th in pool.

BDC Barracudas Rugby and Football Registrations open

Registrations are now open for all players interested in playing Football (Soccer) or Rugby in Community Competitions for the BDC Barracudas.

PLEASE NOTE THAT PLAYERS DO NOT HAVE TO ATTEND BDC TO PLAY FOR THE BARRACUDAS!

Football
Competition: April - August/September.
Training: 1 session per week at BDC (training days and times will be confirmed once teams and coaches are confirmed).
Games: All games played Saturday mornings. U12 Competition Girls may have more varied game times.
Teams: U6, U7, U8, U9, U10 & U11 (Mixed). If numbers are sufficient, an U10 & U12 Girls team. If U10 Girls, please register as mixed at this stage.

Rugby

Competition: April - September (approx).
Training: 1 session per week at BDC from late March (training days and times will be confirmed once teams and coaches are confirmed).
Games: Played Friday nights
U8, U9, U10, U11 and U12 Mixed U13 Boys
Cost: $80 - 7 Year Olds
$110 - 8-13 Year Olds

Socks and Shorts purchased separately. Barracudas team jerseys supplied for the season - details to follow.
