Goor Group vs Staff Touch Football
NAIDOC Week at our college was an exciting affair, and the energy soared as the Goori Students took on the Staff in a thrilling touch football match. The field was filled with enthusiasm and friendly competition as both teams showcased their skills and sportsmanship. This event not only brought together students and staff in a fun and engaging activity but also served as a testament to the unity and camaraderie within our school community. It was an unforgettable day of celebrating Indigenous culture, fostering teamwork, and creating lasting memories for everyone involved.
NAIDOC BBQ
Our NAIDOC BBQ on Wednesday, June 19 was a resounding success and an enjoyable event for all. Led by our talented Goori Group students, the BBQ was a hit as numerous people eagerly purchased sausage sandwiches. It was a fantastic opportunity for the BDC community to come together, celebrate NAIDOC Week, and strengthen bonds while having a great time.
NAIDOC Week Assembly
We held our NAIDOC Week Assembly at BDC on Thursday 22 June. Our Goori Group students performed for the college beautifully. We had visitors from Kulai Preschool who performed some songs for us. Thank you Kulai for being a part of our celebration. Thank you to our Goori Group students for MC'ing the celebration as well as all your hard work! Congratulations to our colouring-in competition winners.
