On Monday and Tuesday, 16 and 17 of May students from Year 7-11 travelled down to compete in the Da Vinci Decathlon.
This is an academic competition where students complete challenges as a team across a number of disciplines like English, Maths, Engineering, Art and Poetry and Innovation just to mention a few.
On Monday the Year 11 team gained a place of 10th out of 28 teams scoring particularly well in the area of Legacy(general knowledge).
On Tuesday, the Year 7 girls team and Year 8 team placed 10th and 11th out of 25 teams with Year 8 coming 2nd in Science and Art and Poetry. The Year 7 boys placed 4th overall and 1st in Cartography and 2nd in general knowledge.
It was an exciting opportunity and the students that attended rose to the challenge and had a great experience.
