Ebony Young and Olivia Gerrad Class of 2019 at Bishop Druitt College, have been successful in gaining the Vice Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship at Bond University. This scholarship is to the value of 50% of their course of choice.

The BDC Career Pathways Coach, Gina Driscoll’s personalised student coaching strategy linked with the Regional Recruitment Officer at Bond University has resulted in this successful outcome. 

Olivia hopes to go on and study a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics or a degree in the realm of political sciences. Ebony is going to study a Bachelor of Psychological Science.

‘I’m looking forward to a change in the content I’ll be studying as well as the change in environment, to be put in a setting where I’ll be surrounded by other adults who are just as interested and passionate about psychology as I am. University, to me, is the next step in my studying journey however, it’s also the first step in my psychology journey which I’m very excited about. I think I’m going to learn a lot which will really broaden my knowledge and understanding of the world we live in and that is definitely something I’m looking forward to.’ Ebony Young.
