Bishop Druitt College appoints Sarah Stokes as new Head of Primary

Bishop Druitt College is delighted to announce the appointment of Sarah Stokes as the new Head of Primary, effective from the beginning of the 2025 academic year. Sarah, a dedicated educator with over 18 years of service within our college community, will succeed Richard Smith in this pivotal role.

Sarah has showcased exceptional leadership throughout her tenure at Bishop Druitt College, notably serving as Director of Learning and Teaching (Primary) and spearheading our innovative Teaching Hub Program. Her steadfast commitment to educational excellence and student engagement has been evident in her efforts to elevate teaching practices and enrich student outcomes across the primary school.

Richard Smith will transition back to the classroom at the beginning of 2025, where he will continue to inspire and educate Bishop Druitt College students.
