On Friday Week 5 (5 November), BDC will be hosting a fundraiser to support the Beanie for Brain Cancer campaign. We encourage students to bring along a gold coin donation and wear a fun beanie or hat to school that day. 

Brain cancer directly impacts 1970 Australians each year, which is approximately 1 person diagnosed with brain cancer every 5 hours. It is the lack of knowledge and education surrounding the disease, that results in limited options in terms of treatment. 

By creating awareness and donating towards the cause, we are able to support research into effective treatments and further research into the causes of Brain Cancer.
