Lachlan (Class of 2016), currently works as an Assistant Project Manager with Goodman Group in Sydney NSW, a publicly listed Industrial property group, who own, develop and manage industrial property throughout 14 countries.

Lachlan’s journey in construction commenced shortly after school completion, where he joined renowned local commercial builder, X-Corp, as a labour and Carpenters assistant.

Following a year long stint at X-Corp and to further pursue Lachlan’s sporting and education dreams in Sydney, Lachlan commenced a Bachelor of Construction Management & Development at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in January 2018.

Within this year also 2018, Lachlan joined Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) whilst studying at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in a Undergraduate capacity. Whilst at RLB, Lachlan was exposed to some leading-edge projects, including assisting with construction estimating and variation negation for Macquarie Banks new commercial towers within Martin Place, which form part of the new Sydney Metro.

In 2021, Lachlan completed his degree and in the same year pursued his passion for Developments, commencing at Goodman Group.

Fast forward to today, Lachlan has been involved in some of the largest Industrial developments across the globe, which includes the Amazon Fulfilment centre in Kemps Creek, which is the first Automated Robotics Fulfillment Centre in the Southern Hemisphere and is now the largest warehouse in Australia.
