Yarnam Swift studied at BDC from 2006, was elected in 2009 as house leader to then sit for the HSC in 2009. In 2008 he travelled to Cambodia with Year 11 and Mr Klipin to visit schools and orphanages as part of the annual good-will and construction tour.

Over the past 3 years, he has raised funds to send boxes of books on all topics, novels, reference books and school textbooks to supplement their scant libraries. This year he has enough books and school resources to fill a shipping container to send to them.

Yarnam has been teaching Chrysalis Steiner School in Coffs Harbour since 2018 and currently has a Year 6 class. What an amazing young man!
