Born and raised in the Coffs Harbour region, Billy enjoyed a professional surfing career and travelled the globe to some of the world's most exotic surf locations. 

After completing the School Certificate in 2005, Billy started surfing on the pro junior series competing, as well as travelling around the world on photo shoots for the surf magazines and his sponsors.

Enjoying surfing sponsorships since age 11, Billy has also featured in advertisements in the surfing industry including Billabong and several other major surf brands, televised local tourism and signature surfboard products.

Since 2005 he has featured in magazines such as Surfer, Surfing, Stab and the cover of Tracks. Billy had a major role in the movie “Loco Loco” filmed in Indonesia in 2014.

Still an avid surfer, he can be found in the line-up around Sawtell most early mornings. 

Looking to his future, Billy decided to launch Kean2Drive Driving School and having the expertise of a qualified driving examiner as a father who always encouraged his son to own his own business.

He is a fully accredited independent Driving Instructor providing professional driving instruction in the Coffs Harbour region. Kean2Drive offers a friendly, patient and relaxed atmosphere with tuition available both automatic and manual.

Billy provides professional driving lessons in flexible hours to new drivers of all ages in the North Coast area. The latest addition to his fleet is a Suzuki Swift with dual controls and a 5-star ANCAP Safety Rating.
