Bishop Druitt College welcomes the enrolment of international students. The college has over 1000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12 and is situated on one campus in the beautiful North Boambee Valley of Coffs Harbour in New South Wales, Australia. Coffs Harbour is a coastal city with a population of just over 70,000. It is located approximately 8 hours north of Sydney and 4 hours south of Brisbane.
As well as being registered with the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS), allowing students from overseas to attend the college for extended periods as full-fee-paying overseas students (FFPOS), the college also welcomes fee-paying overseas students who wish to visit for a short period of time. All these students are part of Bishop Druitt College's international student program.

Bishop Druitt College has an educational program based on, and taught in accordance with, the outcomes of the NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA) syllabuses for Years 7-10 (junior secondary) and courses of study for each child in the eight key learning areas of secondary education. These are:
English - Mathematics - Science - Human Society and its Environment (HSIE) - Languages - Technologies - Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) - Personal Development, Health and Physical Education.
All students in Years 7-10 are also required to undertake the college’s Stages 4-5 Religion, Ethics and Philosophy course.
Bishop Druitt College has an educational program based on, and taught in accordance with, the outcomes of the NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA) syllabuses for Years 11-12 (senior secondary). For all students this includes a pattern of study that comprises a course in English and courses in other subjects that together comply with a pattern of study required for candidates of the NSW Higher School Certificate.
Successful applicants will be forwarded a provisional letter of offer, including an invoice for payment of fees in advance. International students are required by the Australian Government to take out medical cover for the entire duration of their stay under the Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) scheme. This is the responsibility of the student.

Enrolment is not confirmed until the place that has been offered has been accepted and the college is in receipt of the signed and completed written agreement and payment of fees in advance, as stated on the letter of offer.
On receipt of the required documentation and the fee payment, the college will issue the confirmation of enrolment (COE), which will be required to support the student’s visa application.
Bishop Druitt College is able to organise homestay where required for visiting international students. Most of the homestay families organised by the college are members of the college community. All potential homestay families are interviewed by the school and an inspection of the home is arranged before student placement. Homestays are monitored by the college to ensure student welfare needs are being met. Further information can be gained by reference to the accommodation, support and general welfare arrangements.
