30th Anniversary Gala Dinner - Friday, 19th May 2023

I am thrilled to share the highlights of our unforgettable Gala Dinner, which took place on Friday, 19th May. The event was a resounding success, as we welcomed almost 350 esteemed guests, including many of our DSN principals and chairs, all four past principals from BDC, foundational families, current families and staff, and a heartening number of alumni. It was a truly remarkable gathering that brought together the past, present, and future of Bishop Druitt College.

David Ford Centre - official opening

As part of the 30th Anniversary celebrations, we had the honor of officially opening the David Ford Centre, our new senior hub. This state-of-the-art facility represents a significant milestone in the college's growth and commitment to providing an exceptional education for our senior students. The David Ford Centre is equipped with cutting-edge resources, designed to foster a dynamic and enriching learning environment.

Rededication of the senior building

During this momentous day, we also had the privilege of rededicating the senior building to the "Win Howard Building." This renaming pays tribute to the enduring dedication and visionary leadership of the last two College Council Chairs, who have played instrumental roles in the development and progress of Bishop Druitt College. The "Win Howard Building" stands as a testament to their long-term commitment and the impact they have made on our educational community.
